In the morning of October 11th , 2016 , at 9am , the social academy of CCNU and the Griffith had a video conferencing at the conference hall in the third building , discussing deeply about the cooperation of teaching together between China and Australia.
The leaders who presented at the ceremony were our president Rui Dawen , the vice president Wan Rende and some other representatives from the social academy . As for the Griffith , the representatives were the president of Human service and social work academy called Lynne Briggs , the lecturer Liang Jianqiang and the deputy secretary Florence Amery.
At the beginning of the meeting , the president Rui Dawen and the president Lynne went on a brief communication about the three Australian lecturers going to China to proceed teaching in our social academy in Novermber . The Australia expressed their wish that our social academy could develop more correlative cooperation on the subjects of the center for social work research and welcomed more students from CCNU coming to Griffith to continue studying .
Afterwards , the vice president Wan Rende had a discussion about the current problems and questions in the cooperation between China and Australia with the president Lynne of Griffith and the tutor Liang Jianqiang , mainly focused on four kinds of problems — the way to improve the language ability of students who intend to go to Australia , how to decrease the gaps between the courses from each other , whether the students who go to the Australia have the chance to go on further study for the graduate degree and whether the Griffith can support the students who did well in their lessons but could not go abroad because of the financial problems . Then , the president Lynne replied to these questions .
The Griffith claimed that they have special arrangement aimed at the students from CCNU , and can help those students get adapt to the study in Australia , also they would try their best to promote the consistency between the courses .
What's more , the Griffith expressed that they will manage to help the CCNU students to apply for the opportunities to study for a graduate degree , meanwhile , they also emphasized that the grade is significant for the appliance to the graduate degree .They promised they would invite the relative instructors to introduce the affairs about applying for the scholarship concretely in the video conferencing at Novermber 12th .
Finally , the president Rui Dawen and the president Lynne had a further talk about the arrangement of three Australian teachers coming to China to teach the lessons and prepared for the coming face to face communication in the next month .
This video conferencing established a bridge for China and Australia go on more deep cooperation and founded the bases of the long development of Sino Australia cooperation of teaching and learning together which made it possible to benefit more students in CCNU.
